M10 x 200mm Bright Zinc Plated Cup Square Hex Coach Bolt and Nut

Summary

The M10 x 200mm Bright Zinc Plated Cup Square Hex Coach Bolt - also known as a carriage bolt - is a heavy-duty fastener designed for timber-to-timber and timber-to-metal connections. The distinctive domed head and square anti-spin shoulder make it a reliable choice for structural joinery, fencing, decking and general construction work. Supplied complete with a hex nut.

Features

• Domed mushroom head provides a clean, low-profile finish on the visible face of the joint.
• Square section under the head embeds into timber on tightening, preventing the bolt from rotating without a tool on the head.
• Bright zinc plated finish provides increased corrosion resistance for general construction and external applications.
• Metric coarse thread conforms to DIN 603 (bolt) and DIN 555 (nut) to Grade 4.6 mild steel.
• Fully threaded for a minimum of approximately 100mm on bolts exceeding 100mm in length.
• Widely compatible with repair washers, square plate washers and timber connectors (sold separately).
• Suitable for furniture making, joinery, decking frames, fencing posts and structural timber connections.
