M12 x 50mm Bright Zinc Plated Cup Square Hex Coach Bolt with Nut

Summary

The M12 x 50mm Bright Zinc Plated Cup Square Hex Bolt, also known as a coach bolt or carriage bolt, is a metric fastener manufactured to DIN 603 in Grade 4.6 mild steel with a bright zinc plated finish. Designed for timber-to-timber and timber-to-steel connections, it is a trusted choice for construction, fencing, decking, and general structural joinery. Supplied complete with a hexagon nut.

Features

• Domed mushroom head provides a neat, flush appearance on the visible face of the joint.
• Square shoulder beneath the head bites into timber on tightening, preventing the bolt from spinning during assembly.
• Bright zinc plated finish provides corrosion resistance suitable for internal and sheltered external applications.
• Fully threaded along the shank at this 50mm length, maximising thread engagement with the nut.
• Metric coarse thread (M12) for compatibility with standard M12 hex nuts and washers.
• Conforms to DIN 603 for the bolt and DIN 555 for the supplied hexagon nut, ensuring dimensional consistency.
• Grade 4.6 mild steel construction offers reliable tensile strength for general structural fastening.
• Compatible with M12 square plate washers, repair washers, and timber connectors (sold separately).
