Unifix M8 x 25mm Bright Zinc Plated Mudguard (Penny) Washers HV140 - Pack of 20

Summary

The Unifix M8 x 25mm Bright Zinc Plated Mudguard Washer (also known as a penny washer) is a large-diameter flat washer designed for use with M8 threaded fasteners such as bolts and nuts. Its oversized outer diameter distributes clamping load across a wider surface area, making it ideal for construction, automotive, and general trade applications. The bright zinc plated finish provides reliable corrosion resistance for both indoor and outdoor use.

Features

• Extra large outer diameter distributes tightening load over a greater area than a standard flat washer.
• Designed for use with M8 threaded fasteners including bolts, nuts, and studding.
• Helps prevent pull-through on soft, thin, or compressible materials.
• Bright zinc plated mild steel construction resists corrosion in general-purpose environments.
• Conforms to HV140 specification for mudguard/penny washers.
• 1.5mm thickness provides consistent bearing surface under the fastener head or nut.
• Suitable for construction, joinery, automotive, and DIY applications.
• Supplied in a convenient pack of 20 for trade and site use.
