Thunderbolt All-Purpose Anchor Hexagon Flange Head ZYP M6 x 50mm

Summary

The Thunderbolt All-Purpose Anchor is a general-purpose, all-metal masonry anchor in M6 x 50mm with a hexagonal flange head and Zinc and Yellow Plated finish. Designed for tradespeople fixing into a wide range of construction substrates, it eliminates the need for wall plugs or resin. Its self-tapping action delivers reliable, removable anchorage in demanding site conditions.

Features

• Suitable for use in concrete, concrete block, brick, stone, marble, wood, and hollow block - a single anchor for the majority of substrates.
• One-piece, non-expansion design requires no wall plug or resin, making it ideal for close-to-edge and close-spacing fixing applications.
• Self-tapping thread cuts directly into the substrate so the material itself acts as the nut to the bolt, creating a secure mechanical interlock.
• Hexagonal flange head spreads load over a greater surface area, reducing the risk of pull-through.
• Uses smaller drill bit sizes than traditional sleeve-based anchor systems, reducing drilling time and effort.
• Zinc and Yellow Plated finish provides corrosion resistance suitable for internal and sheltered external applications.
• Fully removable after installation, making it practical for temporary fixings and maintenance tasks.
• Quick and straightforward to install with standard drill bits and a hex driver or socket.
