Countersunk Green Decking Screw 8 x 2-1/2"

Summary

A coarse-threaded, countersunk decking screw in a size 8 x 2-1/2" (approximately 4.0 x 65mm), finished with a green corrosion-resistant coating for long-term outdoor performance. Designed for fixing timber decking boards to joists and structural timbers, these screws are a staple choice for landscaping and decking contractors who need a reliable, weather-resistant fastener. The green coating blends discreetly with treated timber decking, giving a clean, professional finish.

Features

• Green corrosion-resistant coating provides excellent protection against rust and the elements, making these screws suitable for outdoor and exposed applications.
• Countersunk head profile allows the screw to sit flush with or below the surface of the decking board for a neat, snag-free finish.
• Coarse thread pattern is optimised for gripping softwood and treated timber, ensuring a secure and lasting fixing.
• Compatible with standard pressure-treated and green-treated timber decking boards commonly used in residential and commercial landscaping projects.
• Reduced shank design minimises splitting of decking boards, particularly at board ends.
• Suitable for use with a power driver or drill, improving speed and efficiency on site.
• Size 8 x 2-1/2" (approx. 4.0 x 65mm) provides the depth of penetration required for a firm fixing through standard decking boards into supporting joists.
