Optimaxx C288-412 Extreme Performance Countersunk Pozi Wood Screw 4.0 x 25mm (Box of 200)

Summary

The Optimaxx C288-412 is a 4.0 x 25mm full-thread, countersunk Pozi wood screw supplied in a box of 200. Engineered for extreme performance, it is designed for fast, clean insertion into timber without the need for pre-drilling or counter-boring. Suitable for professional joiners, carpenters, and general trades requiring a premium-quality wood screw.

Features

• 24 slots cut into the underside of the head - self-countersinks into material without surface damage or the need to counter-bore
• Double reinforced collar significantly strengthens the underside of the head, preventing snapping and allowing a deeper Pozi recess
• Sharp, wide, deep thread formation coated with a unique lubricant for smooth, fast driving
• Saw-tooth formation on bottom threads bites into timber, reducing torque and resistance for fast penetration without a pilot hole
• Specifically positioned long thin groove disperses wood fibres to reduce pressure build-up, preventing splitting when screwing close to edges
• Razor-sharp point (as low as 20deg) with thread extending to the tip for an immediate start on hard or smooth surfaces
• Full thread (applicable to 50mm and shorter lengths)
• Wide, deep Pozi recess minimises cam-out risk and extends bit life
