Optimaxx Extreme Performance Countersunk Pozi Wood Screw 4.0 x 20mm (Box of 200)

Summary

The Optimaxx 4.0 x 20mm countersunk Pozi wood screw is a premium extreme-performance fastener designed for professional and trade use. Self-drilling and self-countersinking, it eliminates the need for a pilot hole even when working close to the timber edge. Supplied in a box of 200.

Features

• Type 17 slash point: razor-sharp tip for an immediate, precise start on even the hardest or smoothest surfaces
• Exclusive slash design captures and removes waste material from the hole for smooth, fast insertion
• Serrated saw-tooth formation above the point cuts through bottom threads and bites into timber, reducing torque and resistance
• Specifically positioned long thin groove disperses wood fibres during insertion, preventing splitting close to the edge
• 24-groove self-countersinking head sinks flush without counter-boring
• Double reinforced collar strengthens the underside of the head for added integrity
• Sharp, wide, deep thread formation for fast, continuous drive
• Compatible with screwdrivers, combi drills and impact drivers
