Optimaxx Extreme Performance Countersunk Pozi Wood Screw 4.5 x 60mm Box of 200

Summary

The Optimaxx C288-930 is a 4.5 x 60mm countersunk Pozi extreme-performance wood screw supplied in a box of 200. Designed for tradespeople and serious DIYers, it combines a self-drilling point, self-countersinking head, and anti-split geometry to eliminate the need for pilot holes or pre-drilling. Its hardened steel construction and proprietary lubricant coating deliver fast, consistent insertion into timber and sheet materials.

Features

• Type 17 slash point - razor-sharp tip gives an immediate, precise start even in the hardest surfaces
• Saw-tooth formation cut into the lower threads bites into timber, reducing torque and enabling fast penetration without a pilot hole
• Unique 24-groove self-countersinking design embeds flush into all materials without the need to counter-bore
• Double reinforced collar strengthens the underside of the head, reducing the risk of pull-through
• Wide, deep Pozi recess dramatically reduces cam-out under high torque
• Long thin anti-split groove relieves pressure build-up on insertion, preventing splitting when fixing close to an edge
• Sharp, wide, deep thread formation with lubricant coating for fast continuous insertion
• Compatible with screwdrivers, combi drills, and impact drivers
• Yellow-zinc coated for corrosion resistance
