Optimaxx Extreme Performance Countersunk Woodscrew 6.0 x 200mm (Box of 50)

Summary

The Optimaxx C288-699 is a 6.0 x 200mm flat countersunk extreme-performance wood screw supplied in a box of 50. Designed for professional timber fixing, it combines a self-countersinking head, a self-drilling point, and a part-threaded shank for maximum grip in deep structural applications. No pilot hole, counter-boring, or pre-drilling is required, making it ideal for fast, high-productivity site use.

Features

• Unique 24-groove design beneath the head self-countersinks into all materials without counter-boring or surface damage
• Double reinforced collar strengthens the underside of the head, preventing snapping and allowing a deeper Pozi recess
• Wide, deep Pozi recess dramatically reduces cam-out during driving
• Sharp, wide, deep thread formation coated with a proprietary lubricant for fast, continuous insertion
• Saw-tooth formation cut into the bottom threads bites into timber, reducing torque and resistance
• Specifically positioned fibre-relief groove reduces pressure build-up, preventing splitting when driving close to edges
• Razor-sharp Type 17 slash point (as low as 20deg) with thread extending to the tip for immediate starts in hard or smooth surfaces
• Fully threaded up to 50mm; part-threaded above 50mm for superior clamping force
• Yellow zinc coating for corrosion resistance
• Compatible with screwdrivers, combi drills, and impact drivers
