Optimaxx Extreme Performance Pozi Countersunk Wood Screws 4.0 x 40mm Box of 200

Summary

Optimaxx Extreme Performance Wood Screws are premium-grade, hardened steel countersunk wood screws designed for fast, precise fixing without pre-drilling or counter-boring. Engineered with a unique combination of self-drilling and self-countersinking features, they are ideal for professional tradespeople and demanding timber applications. Available in a box of 200, size 4.0 x 40mm, with a Pozi drive.

Features

• Self-countersinking head with 24 grooves allows flush seating in all materials without counter-boring or surface damage
• Double reinforced collar strengthens the underside of the head, preventing snapping and enabling a deeper Pozi recess
• Razor-sharp saw-tooth formation on lower threads bites into timber to reduce torque and resistance, enabling fast penetration without a pilot hole
• Type 17 slash point gives an immediate, precise start even in hard or smooth surfaces, capturing and removing waste material
• Long thin groove positioned along the shank reduces pressure build-up on insertion, dispersing wood fibres to prevent splitting near edges
• Sharp, wide, deep thread formation coated with a unique lubricant for fast, continuous insertion and improved corrosion protection
• Compatible with screwdrivers, combi drills, and impact drivers
