Owlett-Jaton Supascrew 8 x 2" CSK BZP Twin Thread Woodscrew (Box of 200)

Summary

The Owlett-Jaton Supascrew is a No.8 x 2" (4.2 x 50mm) countersunk, bright zinc plated twin-thread woodscrew supplied in a box of 200. Designed for fast, reliable fixing in softwood, hardwood, and man-made boards, it is equally at home used with a plastic wall plug in masonry. Its twin-thread, hardened-steel construction makes it a dependable everyday choice for trade professionals.

Features

• Double countersunk head reduces the risk of head shear and assists flush seating when countersinking.
• 60deg twin-thread profile with parallel shank delivers faster insertion and greater pull-out resistance compared to single-thread designs.
• Sharp 25deg point enables easy penetration and fast starting without pre-drilling in most softwood applications.
• Partially threaded shank from 1-1/4" and above draws materials together tightly for a secure joint.
• Bright zinc plating (3-5 microns) provides corrosion resistance suitable for clean, dry, and low-humidity environments.
• Made from C10-18 carbon steel with surface hardness up to 750 HV to resist torque shearing under load.
• Core hardness up to 450 HV ensures ductility and reduces the risk of brittle fracture.
• Compatible with a PZ2 driver bit for use with both manual screwdrivers and power drivers.
