Owlett-Jaton Supascrew No.8 x 1-3/4" Countersunk Pozi BZP Twin-Thread Woodscrew Box of 200

Summary

The Owlett-Jaton Supascrew is a hardened, bright zinc plated twin-thread countersunk woodscrew in No.8 gauge by 1-3/4" (4.2 x 45mm), supplied in a trade box of 200. Designed for fast, reliable fixing in softwood, hardwood and man-made board, it is equally at home in masonry when used with a plastic wall plug. The Plusdriv recess and twin-thread form make it well suited to powered driving in all trades.

Features

• Plusdriv (Pozi-compatible) countersunk recess provides excellent bit engagement and reduces cam-out during power driving.
• Twin-thread design with parallel shank delivers faster insertion and greater pull-out resistance than single-thread equivalents.
• Double countersunk head profile reduces the risk of head shear and assists clean completion of countersinking.
• Surface hardened for high torque resistance; toughened core maintains ductility to prevent brittle fracture.
• Bright zinc plated finish protects against corrosion in clean, dry and low-humidity interior environments.
• Sharp 25deg needle point starts without pre-drilling in most softwood applications.
• Partially threaded on lengths above 1-1/4", allowing the shank to draw timber faces tight together.
• Suitable for use in masonry when combined with an appropriately sized plastic wall plug.
