Unifix Vortex High-Performance Multi-Purpose Wood Screw CE 4.0 x 50mm (Box of 200)

Summary

The Unifix Vortex 4.0 x 50mm CE-approved multi-purpose power screw is a premium woodscrew designed for trade and professional use across a wide range of timber and non-timber substrates. Its combination of advanced thread geometry and self-countersinking head design eliminates pre-drilling and pre-countersinking steps, speeding up installation. Supplied in a box of 200 with a free driver bit included.

Features

• Recessed double countersunk head increases strength beneath the head, significantly reducing the risk of shearing.
• Sharp milling ribs under the head enable effective self-countersinking, removing the need to pre-countersink the workpiece.
• Patented 'Saw Fix' serrated thread technology allows the screw to power through a wide range of materials quickly and with reduced driving force.
• Oblique-angle sharp gash point provides a faster start, self-drills the pilot hole and reduces the risk of wood splitting.
• Partially threaded shank (30mm thread length) provides strong clamping force between joined materials.
• Zinc and yellow passivated finish provides corrosion resistance suitable for interior and exterior applications.
• CE approved to relevant European standards for structural confidence.
• Suitable for use in hardwood, softwood, chipboard, plywood, MDF, PVCu and thin sheet metal.
