Vortex Pozi CSK High Performance Exterior Wood Screw 5 x 80mm Tub of 110

Summary

The Vortex Pozi Countersunk High Performance Exterior Wood Screw is a professional-grade multipurpose screw engineered for demanding outdoor applications. Supplied in a tub of 110, the 5 x 80mm size is suited to heavy-duty timber joinery, fencing, decking, and wood-to-sheet-metal fixing. A zinc and yellow passivate wax finish delivers double corrosion resistance for extended service life in exterior conditions.

Features

• Pozi countersunk head with a double countersunk profile that reduces the risk of shearing around the screw hole.
• Sharp under-head milling nibs allow easy self-countersinking without pre-drilling into the surface.
• Sawfix serrated teeth near the tip power through timber surfaces with reduced torque.
• Oblique razor-sharp gash point tip ensures precise and easy initial penetration into materials.
• Deep, wide single thread cuts cleanly through hardwood, MDF, decking, and sheet materials.
• Suitable for wood-to-plastic and wood-to-sheet-metal applications as well as timber-to-timber.
• Zinc and yellow passivate wax finish provides double corrosion resistance for exterior use.
• CE approved to EN14592:2008 and A1:2012 for structural timber applications.
