Bessey AV2 Adjustable Floor Spacer Pack of 4 - 5 to 20 mm

Summary

The Bessey AV2 is an adjustable floor spacer designed for use during floating floor installations, including laminate, solid wood, engineered hardwood, and parquet. Sold in a pack of four, it replaces traditional wedge spacers with a dial-operated mechanism that delivers precise, consistent expansion gaps. It is the ideal tool for professional flooring installers who need speed, accuracy, and reliability.

Features

• Dial-operated adjustment allows the wall-to-flooring gap to be set quickly and accurately by simply turning the red dial.
• Adjustable spacing range of 5 mm to 20 mm accommodates a wide variety of floating floor installation requirements.
• Clearly marked millimetre scale on the dial makes it easy to set all spacers to a consistent gap or vary them to compensate for uneven walls.
• Wide contact lip distributes pressure over a broad area, eliminating point-loading that can mark or damage walls and flooring edges.
• Self-locking dial mechanism prevents the spacer from collapsing or falling over during installation - unlike loose wedge spacers.
• Angled, grooved contact surface grips the flooring edge firmly and prevents the spacer from being accidentally displaced.
• To remove, simply turn the dial counterclockwise to release pressure - no tools required.
• Compact footprint - approximately the size of a business card - for use in tight spaces close to the wall.
• Manufactured from impact- and break-resistant, glass fibre reinforced polyamide for long-lasting durability.
