The Firestop Trend Rebated Drop Down Seal is a high-performance, automatic door bottom seal designed for timber fire, smoke, and acoustic doors. Recessed into the bottom of the door for a discreet finish, it drops automatically upon door closure to form an effective barrier against noise, smoke, fire, light, and draughts. Ideal for commercial and residential fire door installations requiring compliance with stringent UK fire and acoustic standards.

• Automatic drop-down action activated by the closing of the door - seal retracts when the door is opened
• Rebated (mortice/recessed) model, fitted into a routed channel in the bottom of the door for a concealed installation
• Aluminium body with self-directing reinforced plunger for reliable, consistent operation
• Therm-type, high-quality co-extruded self-extinguishing seal - removable to aid fitting and replacement
• Maximum drop of 14mm; trimmable by up to 200mm to suit door width
• Fire tested to BS EN 1634-1 and BS 476: Part 22 to 60 minutes (FD60)
• Smoke tested to BS EN 1634-3: 2004
• Acoustic tested to BS EN ISO 10140-1 and BS EN ISO 10140-2 - achieving up to 39dB Rw
