Bosch HSS-Co Cobalt Twist Drill Bit 13 x 151mm - Pack of 5

Summary

The Bosch HSS-Co 13mm twist drill bit is a fully ground, cobalt-alloyed high-speed steel bit engineered for demanding metalwork applications. Supplied in a pack of five, it is the professional's choice for drilling stainless steel, hard alloy steels, cast iron, and other tough materials where standard High Speed Steel bits fall short. The 135-degree split-point tip and precision geometry deliver fast, clean holes with minimal feed pressure.

Features

• Manufactured from alloyed high-speed steel with 5% cobalt content, providing outstanding heat and wear resistance for extended service life.
• Fully ground construction to DIN 338 Type N ensures consistently precise hole dimensions and excellent surface finish.
• 135-degree self-centring split-point tip eliminates the need to pre-punch or pilot drill for holes up to 10mm diameter.
• Delivers up to 40% faster drilling rates and up to 50% lower feed pressure compared to standard chisel-edge High Speed Steel bits.
• Two cutters and two flutes provide rapid chip evacuation, reducing heat build-up and prolonging bit life.
• Cylindrical shank (diameter equal to bit diameter) is compatible with standard three-jaw drill chucks, drill stands, and pillar drills.
• Suitable for alloyed and non-alloyed steel, stainless steel (V2A/V4A), cast steel, cast iron, and acid- and heat-resistant steels.
• Diameter tolerance to h8 for accurate, repeatable results across all compatible materials.
