Bosch HSS-Co Cobalt Twist Drill Bit 6.5 x 101mm (2608585856)

Summary

The Bosch HSS-Co 6.5mm cobalt twist drill bit is a professional-grade single drill bit engineered for demanding metal drilling applications. Manufactured from alloyed high-speed steel with 5% cobalt content to DIN 338, it delivers exceptional resistance to heat and wear. It is the go-to choice for tradespeople working regularly with hard, tough, or stainless steels.

Features

• Manufactured from alloyed high-speed steel (HSS-Co) with 5% cobalt content to DIN 338, providing superior heat and wear resistance.
• Suitable for drilling alloyed and non-alloyed steel up to 1000 N/mm2 tensile strength, stainless steel V2A/V4A, cast steel, cast iron, and acid/heat-resistant steels.
• 135deg self-centring split-point tip manufactured to DIN 1412 C eliminates the need for centre-punching and prevents bit wandering.
• Two-cutter, two-fluted, right-hand cutting geometry (Type N) ensures clean, precise holes.
• Enables up to 40% faster drilling rates and up to 50% lower feed pressure compared to standard-ground High Speed Steel bits.
• Precision-ground for consistent accuracy and repeatable results.
• Recommended for use in pillar drills and drill stands for optimum precision.
• Cutting oil is recommended when working with these HSS-Co bits to maximise performance and tool life.
