Bosch HSS-Co Metal Drill Bit 3.5 x 70mm - Pack of 10

Summary

The Bosch HSS-Co 3.5mm twist drill bit is a high-performance cobalt-alloy bit designed for demanding metalworking applications. Manufactured to DIN 338 with a 5% cobalt content, it delivers outstanding heat and wear resistance when drilling tough and hard steels. Supplied in a pack of 10, it is well suited to trade and production environments where reliability and precision are essential.

Features

• Manufactured from alloyed high-speed steel with 5% cobalt content to DIN 338, providing superior resistance to heat and wear.
• Enables up to 40% faster drilling rates compared with standard High Speed Steel bits, with up to 50% lower feed pressure required.
• 135deg self-centring split-point tip ensures precise, accurate starts without wandering, eliminating the need to pre-punch or centre-drill holes up to 10mm diameter.
• Cylindrical (plain) straight shank is compatible with standard keyed and keyless drill chucks - not suitable for SDS chucks.
• Suitable for drilling alloyed and non-alloyed steel, stainless steel (V2A/V4A), cast steel, cast iron, and acid- and heat-resistant steels.
• Also suitable for use in plastics and other common workshop materials.
• Two flutes promote rapid chip evacuation, reducing heat build-up and prolonging bit life.
• Compatible with pillar drills and drill stands for production or repetitive drilling tasks.
• Use of cutting oil is recommended to maximise performance and bit longevity.
