Bosch HSS-Co Metal Drill Bit 4.5mm Pack of 10 (2608585883)

Summary

The Bosch HSS-Co 4.5mm Twist Drill Bit is a fully ground cobalt-alloy metal drill bit designed for professional use on hard and tough metals including stainless steel. Supplied in a pack of 10, it is manufactured to DIN 338 and offers exceptional wear and heat resistance for demanding site and workshop applications.

Features

• Manufactured from high-speed steel reinforced with 5% cobalt alloy, delivering superior hardness and heat resistance during prolonged drilling.
• Fully ground construction ensures consistent surface quality and extended service life across all supported materials.
• Two cutters and two flutes provide efficient chip evacuation, reducing heat build-up and prolonging bit life.
• 135-degree split point tip enables accurate self-centring, minimising walking and improving hole quality.
• Cylindrical shank (shank diameter equal to drill diameter) is compatible with standard three-jaw drill chucks, pillar drills, and drill stands.
• Suitable for alloyed and non-alloyed steel, stainless steel (V2A/V4A), cast iron, cast steel, and acid- and heat-resistant steels.
• Diameter tolerance h8 ensures precision fit for applications requiring close-tolerance holes.
• Type N flute angle balances cutting aggression with chip clearance for general metal drilling tasks.
