Sika Everbuild 506 Contract PVA Bonding Agent, Primer and Admixture 5 Litre

Summary

The Sika Everbuild 506 Contractors PVA is a trade-grade, multi-purpose polyvinyl acetate bonding agent supplied in a 5 litre tub. Formulated for professional use across building and renovation projects, it functions as a primer, sealer, cement admixture and general-purpose adhesive. It adheres to most common building and DIY materials, with the exception of PVC and rubber.

Features

• Multi-purpose formulation performs as a bonding agent, primer, sealer and cement or plaster admixture in a single product.
• Provides excellent adhesion to plaster, concrete, masonry, brickwork and timber, helping new materials bond securely to existing substrates.
• Reduces surface porosity and dusting when applied as a primer or sealer coat prior to plastering, painting or tiling.
• Improves flexibility, cohesion and overall mechanical strength when used as an admixture in mortar, screed or render mixes.
• Effective as a general-purpose adhesive for porous materials including wood, cork, paper and textiles.
• Ideal for priming unsound or flaking surfaces prior to plastering or applying fresh finishes.
• Can be used diluted (typically 1 part PVA to 4 parts water) for priming, or undiluted as a bonding coat or adhesive.
• Water-based and easy to clean from tools with warm water immediately after use.
• Suitable for both professional contractors and competent DIY users across a wide range of construction tasks.
