Sika Everbuild SikaSeal Fire Guard is a one-part, water-based intumescent acoustic acrylic sealant designed for sealing internal joints and gaps where both fire protection and sound reduction are required. Formerly known as Everbuild Fire Mate, it is rated for up to 4 hours fire resistance in suitably designed joints, making it an essential product for fire-stopping around door frames, partition walls, and service penetrations. Supplied as a single 295ml cartridge, it is suitable for maintenance work, patch repairs, and one-off sealing tasks.

Features

• Four-hour fire-rated intumescent sealant compliant with BS EN 1366-3:2009 and BS EN 1366-4:2006 fire resistance standards.
• Expands to more than 150% of its original volume when exposed to temperatures above 125degC, forming an insulating char that resists fire, smoke, and toxic gases.
